Our clients choose our firm because we
offer the best legal representation available anywhere, not
because we charge the lowest fee. Our legal fees
are competitive and fair, but they do reflect the dedicated
time, effort, expertise, and personal service we invest in every case.
Generally, we cannot
provide a fee estimate without an initial meeting to discuss
your individual circumstances. This initial meeting can be
scheduled as follows:
We prefer face-to-face
initial meetings because often we must work together for
months or years. For those who cannot easily meet in
San Francisco (such as potential clients who are out of the
country or state), we can schedule a time for an attorney
consultation by telephone.
You may call any time to
schedule an attorney consultation or to discuss your case.
There is no consultation fee for
human resources professionals or other employer
representatives. For others, there is a
small fee for an attorney consultation (usually $100), but there is
no charge for discussing your case with a paralegal to determine
whether we can help*. To discuss your case
with a paralegal and/or schedule a
consultation with the attorney please call (415) 248-3100
(7 a.m. to 3 p.m., M-F), or send an email
to info@immilaw.com.
We accept credit and
debit cards, but prefer checks. You can pay for the
consultation at the time of the meeting, or by clicking the
PayPal icon to the right.
For a case that has already been started
(and you are looking for assistance to fix it, or seek a
second opinion), or involves unusual complexity, the consultation fee is $350. Often,
the consultation fee is credited to the legal fee if you
decide to retain us. Potential and existing clients
who are overseas can arrange for a SKYPE conference by first
sending an email.
Limited pro bono
(no fee) representation is available to those who a) would
not otherwise be able to retain an attorney, b) would suffer
injustice without representation, and c) are deserving of
free legal services. Also, we may provide reduced fees to
religious or public service organizations and their
employees. Some of the groups we have assisted in this
way include Audubon Canyon Ranch, Silicon Valley Jewish
Community Center, and the United Pentecostal Church.
*Paralegals do not give legal advice.
