L-1 visas enable international companies to transfer key
managers and professionals from a foreign subsidiary to the
U.S. parent company (or from a foreign parent company to a
U.S. subsidiary). Often those employees are also
eligible for permanent residence status ("green card")
without the necessity of a labor certification. Unlike
other working categories, spouses of L-1 employees can
obtain work authorization.
Our firm has extensive experience representing
multinational companies in L-1 cases. Often the
L-1 visa can be obtained in just a few weeks, especially if
the employer has a pre-approved blanket L-1 petition.
